Svo fór hún að virða fyrir sér veggina og tók nú eftir því, að á þeim voru bæði hillur og bókaskápar. Hér og þar voru líka landakort og skemmtilegar dýramyndir. Um leið og hún fór fram hjá einni hillunni, náði hún í krukku. Á henni stóð „GLÓALDINMAUK“, en hún reyndist því miður vera tóm. Lísa þorði ekki að sleppa krukkunni, því að hún hélt, að hún gæti meitt einhvern fyrir neðan sig. En loksins tókst henni að koma krukkunni aftur upp á eina hilluna. “Nú er ég orðin svo vön að hrapa að ekkert gerir til, þó að ég velti einhvern tíma niður stigann heima“, hugsaði Lísa. „Ég myndi meira að segja ekki gráta, svensk politik þótt ég dytti ofan af þaki“.
