One of the first character ce thales of this type was recorded in 1816, with the name of the Egypti

W e have finally ce thales rebuilt the character Simplicity light (thin or light in English) and bold (medium or mediums in English). The Simplicity ce thales was created by prolific designer Alessandro ce thales Butti in 1930, for workshops typographical Nebbiolo. A special thanks goes to Romesh Naik (Nike), which has provided us the opportunity to have rebuilt this font in digital format from scans of its original ce thales catalogs.
The original character included 12 styles, listed here from the catalog Nebbiolo: 501-00 501-01 series regular series round clear round clear close range 501-05 501-06 series cursive cursive normal clear clear close round series 501-10 Neretta normal ce thales 501 - 11 series round Neretta narrow range 501-15 501-16 series cursive cursive Neretta normal Neretta narrow plain black round series 501-20 501-21 501-25 series series round tight black cursive plain black tight black cursive 501-26 series
The commercial success ce thales of typefaces sticks (sans serif, sans serif in English, in the American gothic, grotesk in German, ce thales French ce thales lineal) is probably due to the enormous development and widespread use of the press during the industrial revolution in the United Kingdom . Advertising, ce thales in particular, given the need to attract the reader, in turn, had the need to be submitted by a character that is legible and occupy as little space as possible, even when printed in large format. In fact the characters sticks, thanks to the nearly constant thickness of the rods and the lack of thanks make the letters more easily manipulated.
One of the first character ce thales of this type was recorded in 1816, with the name of the Egyptian English Dalal Caslon foundry (see: Typophile: Two Lines Inglese Egyptian). In 1896 was produced by the Berthold 'Akzidenz Grotesk, from which will be born one of the most used characters of this type, the' Helvetica Max Miedinger for Haas in Basel.
As of the end of the first decade of the twentieth century, influenced by fashion, sans serif fonts began to assume most simple geometric forms (consider, for example the perfect circularity of O Johnston), and between 1927 and 1930, Paul Renner designed the Futura for Bauersche Giesserei Frankfurt. Soon there was no printing press that could ignore this new type of character, thanks in large part to the use that he made the advertising graphics.
In Italy between 1930 and 1931 was marketed by the foundry Nebbiolo di Torino a rationalist character in some ways very similar to the Future: The Simplicity. Consider it a simple reinterpretation of the Italian Futura would be a mistake, however: while the Futura is absolutely rational, the Simplicity still showing influences of Art Nouveau is both projected to Art Deco.
In an effort to make this character further multifaceted ce thales and versatile was modified in several versions including the 'Shadow and a series of case cursive "writing."
