Anjan Contractor, mechanical engineer with a special interest in 3D printers, has received the NASA 125 thousand U.S. dollars to create a prototype system for automatic production of food. NASA's hope that their device, once developed, will help to further the conquest of space so you will prepare food for astronauts during long journeys to nearby planets. Some of it is already called Replicator, taking into account that the device has the same purpose as the replicator from the popular Star Trek.
I am the inventor of the device has much bigger plans. He hopes that his 3D printer for food find their way into homes around the world, and that will help people to quickly and easily prepare food. Users in the store bought cassette components, install them in the printer, enter the prescription and wait for their meal prints.
Although lamellfräs the idea does not sound too tasty to ask what is the difference between the so prepared food than what we buy in the supermarkets today. For most food products we can today say that it is printed, only in a much larger 3D printers lamellfräs called factories.
