Sukhoi Civil Aircraft ( Moscow Zhukovsky ) has been issued a supplemental type certificate by Russia s Interstate Aviation Committee for its SSJ 100-95 LR. Among the notable differences between the LR and the standard version of the SSJ100 is the increase in its range by 1'500km, to 4'600km. The SSJ100LR is also powered by PowerJet SaM146 1S18 engines that offer a 5% increase in thrust over the SaM146 engines used on the SSJ100-95. Gazpromavia (4G, Moscow Ostafyevo ) is the launch customer for the SSJ100LR with its first delivery due in the next few weeks.
