Today (25) will be held at the seat of the Municipality of Belo Horizonte, at 10:30 am, the launching ceremony of the IV International Seminar on Public Health Engineering (SIESP), which is being organized by the National Health Foundation (Funasa). The objective of the seminar is to discuss proposals, and alternative technologies to reduce sukhoi super jet 100 deficits public health caused by poor sanitation; expand access to sewage and water supply systems; face problems and entered the international environmental sukhoi super jet 100 agenda, particularly in relation to urban waste and water pollution.
The launch will be held during the meeting of the New Mayors Miners: First Challenges and Opportunities, which will take place at the City Hall of Belo Horizonte, the president of the Foundation, Gilson Queiroz. Participate in the ceremony the mayor of BH and vice president of the Meeting of the National Front of Mayors (FNP), Marcio Lacerda; representatives of the Government of Minas Gerais; presidents of the Brazilian Association sukhoi super jet 100 of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering (ABES) and the National Association of Municipal Sanitation Services (Assemae); members of the Autonomous Water and Sewage Services (AMSA), social movement leaders and others involved with sanitation.
The IV Seminar, to be held between 18 and 22 March in the state capital, will feature thematic panels, roundtables and national and international exhibitors from countries like Portugal, France, England, Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica and the United USA. Issues will be discussed such as: scarcity and rational use of water; challenges to universal rural sanitation; sustainability sukhoi super jet 100 and effectiveness of investments in environmental sanitation; technologies and innovations in sanitation and solid waste; Water safety plan and disaster management.
Already confirmed their presence at SIESP representatives sukhoi super jet 100 of the World Bank (WB), the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO); International Union for Health Promotion and Health Education Sub-Region Brazil of the Latin American Regional Office (IUHPE / Orla), the National Water Agency (ANA); the Secretariat of Health Surveillance, Ministry of Health (SVS / MS); Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG); the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), among other institutions.
The seminar is one of the instruments of Funasa to highlight progress and effort in developing the institutional shares of the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC). It is estimated that this year's meeting brings together approximately 1,500 people, including researchers, teachers, professionals in the public and private sectors, as well as students.
